Just left the Captiol Building. We saw Congress vote on a bill. One guy was taking a long time to vote, so a bunch of Congressmen started shouting, "Vote vote vote vote!" That's not something you see on T.V. We also got our picture with Jim Renacci. ~Brenna
We just came out of the Holocaust Museum. It was very interesting. When we entered, we all got a name and a story. As we went through the museum, our stories developed. In the end, we learned if our person survived. My person was named Fruma. She was Jewish, and when she heard rumors of Nazis coming she fled. In the end, she disappeared . Her husband says she must have drowned. ~Brenna
I'm seriously going to miss D.C. We saw Ford's Theater and the house where Lincoln died. It was cool to see. We also went to street venders and got t-shirts and sweat-shirts. Now we will go party on the boat! Then we will go to the Iwo Jima monument. Then, 8 hours and we are home. I don't want to leave!
The White House was under lockdown. I have no idea why. We drove past Iwo Jima. It was really cool. We just saw a vampire on the side of the road! Hahaha! I'm sooo tired. These girls keep randomly laughing because we are sooo tired. Well the boat was fun. And we are currently exiting D.C. I'm going to miss it, but I'm tired and ready to be home. ~Brenna
