Today we started by going to the Capitol building. We went through and everything was amazing: the statues and the Congress room. The Congress room was amazing because they were in session and the decorations were beautiful.
Next we went to the Holocaust and it was one of the things that I was looking forward to. The things that the Jews went through were terrifying and insane. They took their hair to make shirts and their teeth because they wanted the gold fillings. I learned that they cut off their hair before they were cremated.
The last thing that we saw was the Archives and it was magnificent because we saw the Declaration of Independents and the Constitution. Markus Schlabach
