Day 3

Today we went to the Holocaust Memorial Museum and it was a great experience. I saw the shoes and hair from some of the people in the concentration camps and it was a very emotional for me knowing that all those people were murdered and that was not even close to a percent of the people that died.

After that we went to the National Archives and saw the Declaration, Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. Even though I couldn't read it I still knew that without those documents we may not have the life we do today. Also we went to the capitol and saw where the representatives debate. The best part of that was they were in House chamber and we saw them vote on a bill. That was a very cool thing to see - that many people never get to. Seth Green
